A Modern Motion Service Plan can save on service and part expenses, while reducing downtime with preventative maintenance and part inventory recommendations.

With a service plan you are charged monthly instead of being charged per visit. This allows for easier approval through management or purchasing while also allowing Modern Motion to offer a discounted rate on scheduled service, but also parts and service that fall outside of the service plan schedule.
How does it work?
Depending on the type of service plan you want will determine the cost. All service plans are paid on a monthly basis and require a one year commitment (minimum). The most common are bi-annually, quarterly, bi-monthly and monthly. Depending on the the type of plan determines other service perks like:

*What are Flexible Service Credits?
While the goal of a service plan is to prevent down time and save money we understand that sometimes machines may need immediate service. We allow a certain amount (usually around 25%) of your scheduled service to be used for immediate service.

For example if you are on a quarterly plan that means you may use 1 of your 4 scheduled visits for immediate service. If a machine is having issues between scheduled services you may choose to use one of your Flexible Service Credits at that time. So instead of us coming out on our next scheduled maintenance we will move that into our immediate queue and get out to your facility as soon as possible.

How is monthly cost determined?

Essentially we take the agreed upon service interval and days/hours per visit and discount it by the service plan discount amount. For example if you were on a quarterly plan (25% off) and during the visits you wanted us to be there for 3 days at 8 hours a day (24 hours per visit) your cost would be $900/mo. ($10,800 total for the year). This service, with no discount, would normally be $14,400.00. That is almost $4,000 in savings, and that is not not including all the other savings you receive, plus the possibility of much less down time which can cost companies tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. If your facility is not local to the Detroit area then travel time, lodging, airfare, rental car, and per diem would also be taken into account when calculating your monthly rate.
